Therapy For Gender Identity Dysphoria
Gender Identify Dysphoria is a phenomenon that develops when one’s physical body does not accurately represent one’s internal experience. Because of societal norms and customs, people who identify as a gender different from that which with they were identified at birth, suffer from external oppression and microaggressions, and may feel ill at ease in their body, even experiencing self-loathing, depression, or anxiety. Nobody should have to deal with this on their own, and Cabot therapists can provide support.
