A few things to know about me, Rachel – I believe each person is doing the best they can with what they have. Therapy is a vulnerable space, and I feel honored that my clients allow me to join them in their exploration of their experience. I utilize evidence-based modalities with a collaborative, warm, directive and humorous approach to assist my clients in identifying strengths, goals and patterns that may or may not be working for them. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, life transitions, eating disorders, trauma, OCD and difficult family dynamics across the lifespan in various settings.
I specialize in life transitions, specifically working with young adults and college students. I am trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and pull from CBT, relational, ACT, person-centered, feminist and humanistic approaches.
The most important factor to treatment is a therapeutic relationship – while filters, pictures and bios can helpful, I invite you to reach out to connect via phone or video chat to find if we would be a good fit for each other. I offer free 15-minute consultations.
